Vets Comfort Puppies By Slow Dancing With Them After Surgery

The next time you take your pet to the vet, be sure to give your vet a hug – they really don’t get enough credit. Most of our vets are more than happy to go above and beyond for the animals they treat.

The vet tech staff of the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter in Maryland believe in cuddling their patients after surgery in order to provide comfort – and we could not agree with them more.

The animal rescue shared a heartwarming video of two vet techs – Dennis Moses and Amanda Greenwell – comforting a pair of puppies after they came to from their surgeries.

The BARCS wrote alongside the charming video, “Our Sunday surgery crew slow dancing with puppies waking up from anesthesia. We have the best team.”

This is the sweetest thing ever. We can only imagine that for a little puppy, going under anesthesia and surgery is already scary enough of an experience, but then to wake up cold and alone in a kennel would just be even more traumatizing for them. Instead, they get to come to a loving embrace by the BARCS staff.

We absolutely love this!

As for Dennis, this isn’t his first time providing loving comfort to his patients. There was another video of him that has gone viral which shows him comforting a little puppy named Meesha.

It absolutely warms us to the core to know that these dogs are treated with such love and respect. It’s what every dog deserves.
