Pit Bull Gets The Sweetest Gift After Surviving 7 Months Chemo-Free

Our pets deserve the absolute best when it comes to their birthdays. And as pet parents, we do our best to give them memorable celebrations.

But one Pit Bull, Wallace, got an extra special birthday surprise for his 11th birthday. And there was definitely a proper cause for celebration.

Wallace had received a hemangiosarcoma diagnosis, which was a form of cancer. After being diagnosed, Wallace had been given 2 weeks to 3 months to live without chemo. However, he made it past 7 months without chemo – something that his owner felt needed to be celebrated by a spoiling Wallace rotten.

Wallace was able to celebrate his 11th birthday thanks to the second chance bestowed by his owners. Wallace was found as a stray and brought to a shelter, where he was scheduled to be euthanized when he was rescued by his owners.

Thanks to them, Wallace got to experience new life experiences such as being a pit bull ambassador, as well as a doggie who played competitive disco golf! It’s incredible the joy and possibilities that can be brought into a dog’s life if you choose to adopt rather than shop!
