10-Day-Old Rescue Puppy Experiences A Warm Bath For The First Time

Dogs often go through rough experiences in their lives, no matter how young or old they are. It’s one of the reasons that I am staunchly in favor of always adopting a shelter dog, as you’re truly saving a life.

There were three teeny tiny 10-day-old puppies who had been abandoned in a dumpster. If that wasn’t enough suffering that they’d endured in their young life, they were also scheduled for euthanasia, but fortunately, they were saved by DFW Rescue Me. Given that they were so young, these precious little pups required care around the clock.

As the rescue shared, “It takes a very special person to foster bottle babies. It isn’t just a matter of feeding them every 2 hours and keeping them clean. You pretty much have to do it all. We try to make it as close to a mother’s care as we can get. Never a replacement, but as close as we can come. Warm baths help.”

But the little puppies showed that they were strong and adjusted to life. They particularly enjoyed bath time, an activity that was just so cute!

Of course, the adorableness was all caught on camera, and you can watch the video below:

This is why adopting is so crucial – you can make a difference in the lives for beautiful little pups like these.
