Every city has that one iconic person that all the locals recognize. Mostly, it’s because they have some eccentric ways. And in the city of Denver, one man is well-known for always riding around his bike with some upbeat music always playing, and his four dogs, Harvey, Charley, Moose, and Rafa, accompanying him. Harvey, Charley, and Moose would ride in the back with their own special trailer seat, while Rafa got to enjoy the front views from a bike basket.
Most Colorado Thing I Saw Today: this guy & his fluffy dogs-Harvey, Moose + Rafa and the Yorkie in the basket. He yells their names at the dog park and they come running. They all calmly walk out, the dogs wait to be buckled in on his bike, then he drives off w/90s tunes#HeyNext pic.twitter.com/R8SWEEsV4t

But this man wasn’t just well-known for his biking rides with dogs, he was also Jumpin’ Joe – the world record holder for his impressive feat of car jumping on his custom BMX bike at Mile High Stadium. However, he gave that life up and went from being Jumpin’ Jo, to Joe Trainer, the fitness coach who created It Burns Joe Fitness. It’s crazy to think that Jumpin’ Jo and Joe Trainer are the same man who the city of Denver recognizes for his canine bike rides. But that just goes to show how there are multiple sides to a person.
Boot camp at Red Rocks this morning, 20 miles towing the dogs and off to tennis tournament at Berkeley park. A full day in gorgeous Colorado.

And people seem to know him everywhere he goes. He even lets people pose with his bike and dogs!
He’s also literally the nicest human. I talked to him about how my friends and I send videos whenever we see him and he told me to climb aboard and pretend I was driving to send to them! pic.twitter.com/OmGCbSCwgC

And the social media feed of this Denver icon is never short as people often post about him on social media:
I saw him as well ridding on 32 avenue! This is yet another reason why I ❤️ Denver! pic.twitter.com/Ti6yo8WcLj
