Pet lovers everywhere are raging over the dog owner who tried to pawn off her dog on a friend for the low, low price of $450.
The entire thing was exposed in the subreddit Choosing Beggars, where these manipulative people are put on blast. And this woman is one of them, as she was trying to unload her sick dog, all while demanding compensation and threatening to put the dog in a shelter.
This conversation was supposedly between two “friends.” After the one initially asked, the other made it clear that she had no interest in taking in another pet as she was already the owner of two dogs. However, she did agree to help this older dog avoid going into a shelter.
However, as soon as she agrees to take the dog, this “favor” is suddenly warped into a monetary transaction, and the owner begins to demand money.
Fortunately, the second party was not going to be swindled. She called out the owner for their rotten behavior, reminding her that the only “compensation” that should matter is her dog’s wellbeing.
Hopefully, this poor dog is out of that owner’s house and living with a family that will actually care for it. Some people are truly unbelievable.
