Working from home definitely has its perks if you’re a pet parent. And one Dallas-Fort Worth weatherman went online to share with the world his home set up, which included an adorable couch for his precious little dog.
With a Reddit photo making the rounds via Twitter, KDFW Fox 4 meteorologist Evan Andrews proudly showed off his dog, Penny, hanging out on a couch appropriately sized for a small dog, with the addition of a bone-shaped pillow. Too cute!
Andrews shared with Newsweek, “Considering everything going on in the world nowadays, this is about the best news that’s on the news every day. I just let [my pets] roam freely in the background.”
No truer words have been spoken since it’s always a surprise working from home with pets.
On Reddit, the post of Andrew’s adorable Penny has received 40,000 upvotes, as well as plenty of comments complimenting Andrew on his choice of doggie furniture.
The Reddit user who originally posted the content referred to it as the “best thing I have seen on tv,” as well as the “best thing I saw on fox 4.”
Still, other Reddit users were far more interested in the doggie couch, with some even pointing out that there are plenty of similar designs and couch styles available through Petco.
Andrews also revealed, “The couch has a story, though, and it’s legitimate, because I don’t think I would ever spend that much money on a couch. But my wife just had a birthday, and her aunt bought it for her birthday. We got the couch about the same day we all started working from home. As soon as I got the couch, the dogs fell in love with it. I’m like, ‘I’m putting it in the back of the shot,’ because everybody’s got their Emmy’s in the background. So I’m putting the couch.”
On Twitter, the comments about the precious set up were nonstop, with one person even joking, “Evan, Your dog has the life I want.”

Andrews is well-known to share plenty of pet pictures to his Twitter. The weatherman owns two dogs, two cats, and a tortoise.
Earlier in the month, he shared a picture of him with his tortoise, Frederick, captioning it, “Best part of WFH? Sharing the family farm! Frederick is a hit.”
He also regularly shares his “morning WFH crew,” who are his other dog, plus his cats. His pets have even helped him report the weather, like the day he tweeted a family photo of all of them curled up in bed with him because the weather was rainy and 40 degrees that day.

I think we can all agree, even after this pandemic is over, Andrews should just permanently work from home so we can see more of his furry crew.
