Guide Dog School 3: Taking Care Of Business
Recently, my human pack and I headed down to Chula Vista, California, to revisit the first place in America I came to after a smuggler led me in from Mexico through a tunnel, then paid a cab driver twenty dollars (the last of my money) for a cab ride to San Diego. I didn’t know it at the time, but Chula Vista is only about half way from the border to San Diego.
This was the first time I came back to the border in over twenty years, retracing my steps for a Thanksgiving special coming up on NatGeo Wild. Here are some pictures from the trip, including the tunnel I came through and the freeway bridge I slept under. You can also see one of the newest members of my pack, Taco, a Chihuahua I rescued from off the street.
