Who’s a good girl? Apparently a dog named Eclipse, as she takes herself to the park every day. Yes, this black Labrador and Mastiff mix is such a good girl, she doesn’t need her owner to take her to her local dog park, she can do it all by herself. She’s even got her own bus pass attached to her collar so she can ride to and from all on her own.
Eclipse lives in Seattle, Washington along with her owner, Jeff.

Jeff didn’t train Eclipse to take the bus – the clever dog did it all on her own. And it was by accident as it turned out. It happened the day that Eclipse and Jeff were going together to the park. When the bus pulled up, Jeff was taking too long to board, so Eclipse decided to get on and go without him – not wanting to miss any playtime at the park.

As Robbie Lauren explained in a now-viral Facebook post, “This is Eclipse. Every day she leaves her house, by herself, and takes the bus downtown to the dog park where she spends a couple of hours getting exercise and making friends, and then she takes the bus back home again. She even has her own bus pass attached to the collar.”
Lauren added, “It started when her owner, Jeff Young, was taking too long when the bus arrived, so she impatiently ran ahead and got on the bus by herself. The bus driver recognized her and dropped her off at the dog park, and later Jeff caught up with her. After several more trips by herself, Jeff started letting her go on her own, and she always comes back home a couple of hours later.”
Lauren continued, “All of the bus drivers know her and she makes them smile, and many of the regular passengers enjoy seeing her every day and will often sit down next to her. Even the police have given their approval as long as the bus drivers are okay with the arrangement. ‘She makes everybody happy.’”
The adorable Eclipse has since become somewhat of a Seattle legend, and even has her own Facebook page with tons of fans and followers.
