Calling all dog lovers living in the London area! If you want to get paid to cuddle and play with dogs all day then it might be time to start working on editing your CV as there is a great opportunity on the horizon.
The British newspaper Metro has reported that a couple is on the hunt for a live-in caretaker for their two golden retrievers Milo and Oscar. The couple lives in a beautiful six-story townhouse in the posh neighborhood in central London: Knightsbridge.
As the job posting states, the owners do a lot of traveling for work, so they need someone to look after Milo and Oscar when they’re not at home. There is also a little bit of light housework involved as well.
As per the posting, their ideal candidate must be hardworking, trustworthy, and “MUST have a passion for dog care.”
The daily responsibilities listed out are taking both morning and evening walks with Milo and Oscar, doing the food shopping, running errands, and doing laundry. As compensation, the couple is willing to pay a salary of about $38,500 to $40,000 a year, plus room and board.
The doggie caretaker is expected to work Monday through Friday, plus the occasional weekend.
