Squirrel Decides To Hide His Acorn In The Dog’s Fur

I read somewhere that squirrels are responsible for planting thousands of trees a year because there are so many of them that forget where they buried their nuts. Everyone knows that squirrels bury their nuts during winter. The phrase has even made it into our everyday speech when we refer to people hoarding their money like squirrels burying nuts for winter.

But there was one video that was quite delightful to watch of a squirrel trying to bury his nut. It wasn’t in the ground. Instead, the little squirrel was decided that the best hiding place would be in his dog buddy’s fur. The squirrel can be seen trying to hide the nut beneath the long-haired dog’s fur. Naturally, this did not work out the way the squirrel wanted.

The hilarious clip even showed the dog’s confused look as it watches the squirrel trying to get his nut stashed in his fur. When it didn’t work the squirrel took his treasure elsewhere to hide.
