Dogs are fast learners. And they are definitely quick to learn new tricks if there is a snack incentive behind it all. Some dog owners will use this to their advantage in order to train their dogs to learn basic commands or to teach them cool tricks like “shake hands.”
But one dog owner used treats as a means of teaching her dog basic arithmetic. That is correct, this little pooch learned how to add numbers all for a treat!
In the video, she begins by asking her pup a very basic math problem: one plus one. The little fluffy white pooch taps his paw against her hand twice, giving his answer. He’s obviously right. The answer is two.
But then the owner ramps it up a notch and asks a slightly harder one: two plus three. The canine isn’t stumped in the least. He gives another correct answer with a tap of his paw five times against her hand.
