Siba The Poodle Wins ‘Best In Show’ At The Westminster Dog Show

Siba the standard poodle has won “Best in Show” at the Westminster Dog Show. With over 2,600 entrants in this year’s show, the gorgeous black poodle took home the winning title at the 144th edition of the contest.

This was the fifth time a water dog has taken home the top prize. In total, Poodles have won 10 times at the WDS.

Siba – whose formal name is Grand Champion Stone Run Afternoon Tea – was the top Non-Sporting dog in 2019, as well as the winner of her national specialty.

A whippet named Bourbon came in second place, while in the best-of-seven final ring at Madison Square Garden was Bono the Havanese, Wilma the boxer, Conrad the Shetland sheepdog, Wilma the boxer and Vinny the wire fox terrier.

This 3-year-old primmed poodle will most likely retire and enjoy motherhood as she enters the next phase of her life.
