Service-Dog-In-Training Gets Too Excited Fails His Test

Sometimes we have an idea of what we should be doing in life, however, it turns out that we’re not exactly cut out for it. And that is ok. We all have our own paths in life to follow. This applies to our dogs as well. Sometimes the job that they’re supposed to be doing isn’t exactly what they’re meant to do.

Ryker was training to Double H Canine Training Academy in Louisville, Kentucky in order to be a service dog. But it just wasn’t in him. Service dogs are naturally calm dogs who help their people. While Ryker is a good boy, he was a little too enthusiastic about his job as a service dog. During his training, it became quite apparent that he would be finding employment elsewhere.

A series of videos of his training “fails” ended up becoming a very popular video online. And you can totally see why it rose to such popularity – it’s massively funny! There is nothing that Ryker didn’t do wrong in his video. The playful pooch bit the tennis balls on walkers, as well as pulled around wheelchair-bound people way too fast. That meant that he didn’t become a service dog did mean that we were provided with several minutes of laughter. The best part about the video was it was brilliantly put to Frank Sinatra’s “I Did It My Way.” Yes, Ryker, you did do it your way and we’ve not stopped laughing.
