Seal Pup Plays Hide And Seek With A Curious Dog

By nature, dogs are quite friendly, so it’s very easy for them to make friends. They’re definitely the extroverts of the animal world. And they never say no to new friends – even if those friends aren’t animals from their same species.

And that is how you end up with incredibly adorable footage of a little Labrador retriever becoming best friends with a seal! It is very sweet to watch as two different species bridge the gap of friendship.

The video dates back several years and featured a precious little seal pup that was swimming around in the River Thames near Greenwich, South East London in England. The seal was quite curious itself, and soon caught the attention of a 13-year-old Labrador dog named Mischa.

That is when the two animals struck up a friendship and as the video showed, they were soon playing around as though they’d always been the best of friends. Their mutual curiosity brought them together, but unfortunately for Mischa, it was short-lived when her excitable barks proved to be a little overwhelming for the little seal.

The entire footage was captured by Nicola White, Mischa’s owner – and we’re so glad she did. The interaction is just absolutely precious!
