Animals deserve to be treated with the same respect and care as any human being. Unfortunately, not all people see animals as worth their time and effort. This often leads to wonderful animals who only deserve a loving forever home being abandoned and neglected.
And if you’re someone who has rescued a pet from the shelter before, it’s never hard to tell which ones have had it rough in their life. Besides getting them to trust you and believe in all the love and affection you’re offering them, they also tend to take a little while adjusting to the other aspects of life within a stable home. This can be anything from them being extra fearful of routine situations such as going to the vet or being around others in a dog park, to being unable to process normal everyday luxuries like a doggie bed.
And one 7-year-old bull terrier foster dog broke the internet’s heart with her reaction to sleeping in a bed for the very first time.
It was clear, that this girl never had experienced proper love and care until she ended up in her foster family’s home – and the reaction to being allowed up into the bed spoke volumes for this pooch’s past. When her foster family allowed her to join them on the bed for the first time, it was very emotional for the pup. She was so happy being able to snuggle into the soft sheets and just enjoy being a dog inside a loving home. Her reaction was so pure it definitely stirs a tear or two when watching it.
