We’ve all seen the viral posts showing people before and after receiving a compliment. These people look so happy and genuinely happy after receiving a nice compliment. Apparently it’s not just a human thing to have a positive reaction when being told they’re funny, smart, or pretty. Our dogs can also have similar reactions. And there was one adorable pup who had the best response ever! It’s impossible not to feel your heart melt while watching this video. I have to admit, I’ve watched it nearly five times because it’s just so wholesome to see.
In the video, it starts off with the most precious little white French Bulldog puppy who happens to be wearing a red bandana. Adorable, right? Well, the puppy is seated on the couch just behind his owner, looking a little shy. When the owner asks the pup how he likes his red bandana, the little pup begins to nuzzle and lick his owner’s neck and ear. But when his owner calls the puppy “handsome,” it seems to boost this little guy’s confidence a bit more.
The puppy then becomes more playful and extroverted. He starts to do what puppies do best – he barks a little, nibbles at his owner, and even plays peek-a-boo with the camera. It’s just so cute! We assume that he’s just learning how to take a compliment and needs a little bit more encouragement. Of course, his owner is more than happy to continue making this pup feel special because he continues to reassure his little pup that he’s a handsome boy.
