Sometimes in nature, babies and their mothers don’t always get along. There was one little 2-week-old monkey that was rejected and subsequently abandoned by her mom. The little primate was named Mubi by the people who took her in and cared for her.
While the little baby might have been abandoned by her mom, she was lucky enough to land in a loving home where she even got some siblings! Little Mubi ended up having two Jack Russell puppies for playmates. And it was clear that she was going to be enjoying her time with the puppies.
Iain and Daisy were the two pups that took a shine to the monkey and the trio formed a little bonded group. The zoo pointed out that it was a good thing for the monkey to have the canine playmates since it would mean she’d learn social skills. They hope to one day return her to the wild once she’s grown.
