New Kitten Wakes Up Sleeping Husky With A Kiss

For the majority of my childhood, my pets were two cats and a dog. The two cats ran the show and my poor dog was just along for the ride. Even though she got bullied a bit, she dearly loved our two felines. And despite the occasional attempts to trip her when she walked by, they loved her too. My family definitely wasn’t unusual – plenty of people have both cats and dogs beneath the same roof. And while there is a stereotype that cats and dogs don’t get along, most of us know for a fact that they do get along. Of course, it’s not without its exceptions but overall cats and dogs get along great.

And one precious friendship between a cat and dog was caught on camera for everyone to see. The adorable pair is Kuma and Tora. They are best friends. Given that they live together it’s pretty clear that they probably spend a lot of their time together, partaking in activities like napping, eating, and playing together. But it was their cuddle time that was captured on film.

In the video, the little kitten first appears sitting beside the big husky who is laying down on the floor. The cat is doing what most cats spend a lot of time doing, diligently cleaning herself. She pauses briefly to place a paw on the nose of the dog. The ensuing action from the pooch just melts your heart. The dog then gently licks the little kitten, giving her several big doggie kisses.

And the cat doesn’t even flinch at the affection! It’s clear that these two have formed a very solid bond with one another. And it makes for an incredibly wonderful moment of friendship in the video clip.

I’m sure there are other pet owners out there who can relate to the tender moment. How many of you have cats and dogs who show affection like this? Let us know!
