Moms have a tough job. They’re constantly having to keep an eye on their children – both human and furry. When one mom couldn’t find her dog, she had a slight panic. She did what all moms do – she went on a hunt throughout the home looking for him. After searching for her missing pooch outside in the yard, she ended up looking around inside the family home. When she walked into her child’s room, she was in for a very sweet surprise.
Her daughter Addison was fast asleep in her crib, but she wasn’t alone. Sleeping right beside her was the missing family dog, Raven. When the mom peeked in the room, the dog ended up lifting his head just long enough to acknowledge her presence before going back to sleep. It was such a tender moment to witness.
The woman couldn’t help but film the brief encounter between the two. Reflecting on it in a YouTube video, she said, “People that say ‘money can’t buy happiness’ have never paid an adoption fee.” A very true statement. She added, “10 years ago I left a rescue with this little guy and I often wonder…who rescued who? I have him a home, but he gave me so, so much more.”
