What is the one thing that dogs love more than us? Tennis balls. Our dogs love to chase balls. Any dog owner can attest to the fact that if you take your pup to the dog park, they will happily continue to chase after their ball until they pass out. It’s usually us who have to put a stop to their game after a few rounds.
It’s so cute how they can get excited over a ball. But what would a dog do in the face of a dozen tennis balls? One dog, Bridget, received her very one tennis ball pinata. It was a doggie’s dream come true!
As her owner revealed, they were inspired to do a tennis ball pinata for Bridget while celebrating a socially distant birthday party for her owner. Wanting to share in the fun with Bridget, they presented her with this surprise. The adorable pooch was beside herself.
At first, she couldn’t decide what she wanted to play with first. She just watched them roll around before finally going to pick one up. Given that she was only able to pick one ball up at a time, this created a bit of frustration for the pup.
As her owner shared, “She is a rescue dog from Partners for Pets in Troy IL, and had been at the shelter/in foster for about 3 years before I adopted her. I wanted her to have a very special first birthday with me, but couldn’t earlier because of Covid-19.”
