For all parents, a baby’s first words are a magical moment and a major milestone. And sometimes, our dogs are there to witness the precious moments that occur within our families. But occasionally, there will be a dog who decides that they want to have a milestone of their own.
One woman was trying to teach her baby son say “mama,” and to incentivize her child, she was using food. Of course, this practice attracted the family dog, who came over and was eagerly waiting for a handout of his own. The entire time, the dog was just sitting there, staring.
As the mom continued her campaign to get her baby boy to say “mama,” the dog was getting to the end of his patience. He wanted that food. And he wanted it now. And that is when the clever dog wowed everyone in the room with something amazing. The dog actually ended up saying “mama!”
And the intelligent pooch continues to say “mama” over and over again. At that point, it would appear that the little boy had enough of the dog showing off, that he actually places a hand out as though to try to silence the dog and get him to stop showing off his “mama” skills.
