‘Leader Of The Pack’ Episode 1: Jet Power

In the premiere episode of “Leader of the Pack,” Cesar must rehabilitate and rehome Jet, an out-of-control black Lab mix that was picked up as a stray and saved from destruction by Animal Helpline Dog Rescue in the UK. However, they have determined that Jet is cage-aggressive, toy possessive/obsessive, and too strong and hyper to be rescued by a family.

Cesar soon determines that Jet is not aggressive, just an excitable, high-energy dog, but will he be able to find the right adoptive family who will be able to keep him under control? After he works with Jet’s toy obsession, the candidates are ready to see who will be the best fit.

Kasper and Rachel are a young, attractive couple. They’re active, full of energy and have previous experience with rescue dogs. They’re looking forward to having a new companion to take on their wilderness adventures.

Glenn and Karen are recently married after five years together. Karen has two daughters from a previous marriage but Glenn is a proud and committed stepfather. Glenn is an entertainer and lounge singer. Karen is a manager at a local pub. They were looking for a puppy for a while but decided to adopt instead.

Jenni is a single woman with dozens of animals: 4 dogs, 11 cats, 2 horses, 5 sheep and 31 chickens. Still, she thinks she could have another dog, especially if it’s Cesar who will give it to her. She lives in rural England, surrounded by acres of woodlands: an environment where almost all of the animals move freely as they wish, even in the house.

It’s up to Cesar to determine which of them can truly be Leader of the Pack for Jet, and give him his forever home.
