Labrador Stops A Newborn Baby From Crying

Having a baby is a wonderful event, but it also comes with a lot of responsibility. Even for the most experienced of parents, having a baby can be challenging – especially when they start crying. And unfortunately, crying is really the only way that babies can communicate until they’re able to start learning words. That is why babies will often cry for everything – when they’re hungry, in need of a diaper change, upset, etc. And caring for a newborn who cries a lot can be quite taxing on parents, which is why they often end up needing all the help they can get from friends and family.

Fortunately for one little baby, it would seem that the family’s pet, a golden Lab, took it upon himself to become the baby’s nanny. Peanut, the Lab, was filmed being a wonderful companion to the fussy little baby.

In the video, the little baby is clearly upset and in need of a little extra TLC. The baby so happened to be on a cushion on the floor, so it was in a prime spot for Peanut to come to his aid. The little baby was crying, and Peanut steps in to see what the matter was. He sniffed the child and looked at it inquisitively, trying to determine what the problem was.

Then, in a moment of compassion, the dog began to gently lick the crying baby, and softly poke it with his nose. The act of love seemed to work, as the baby stopped fussing as much when Peanut was paying attention to it. When Peanut stopped, the baby started crying again. It was clear from the video that even little babies can recognize when affection and care is being given to them from their furry family members. And that is just so heart-warming.
