Judge Judy Lets Stolen Dog Pick Out Who His Real Owner Is The During Court Proceeding

Dogs are called man’s best friend for a reason – the bond between a canine and their human is incredibly strong. When one man lost his tiny poodle named Baby Boy, he was distraught.

As it turns out, Baby Boy didn’t run away, instead, he was stolen. To make matters worse, the thief then sold the dog to a woman who had no idea Baby Boy was stolen in the first place. Naturally, she grew to love the dog and fought to keep him after Baby Boy’s original owner brought her to court.

Everyone’s favorite judge, Judge Judy, then had to figure out a solution. That is when Judge Judy decided on a very simple solution: she ordered the dog to be brought into the courtroom and placed on the floor. Then, she waited to see the dog’s reaction in order to determine who the real owner would be.

As soon as Baby Boy was placed on the floor, he beelined it for the man – jumping up and down on him and furiously wagging his tail. There was no denying who this dog’s real owner was. The reunion was heartwarming and the man was brought to tears. Judge Judy then ruled in the man’s favor, declaring him the rightful owner of Baby Boy.

It was lovely to see these two get back together – especially after something as horrible as having your dog stolen. However, this also demonstrates the importance of microchipping as it would have made the court case ultimately avoidable.
