There is a saying that life doesn’t always give you what you want, but it gives you what you need. But in this precious pooch’s case, it is safe to say that life gave him both what he wanted and needed.
The persistent stray pooch kept showing up to the same Hyundai Prime dealership in Brazil. The staff quickly took note of his presence. Initially, they thought the dog would move along but as the days passed it became clear that he wasn’t going anywhere. This ended up being a smart move on the dog’s part since it ended up getting him both adopted and employed!
The staff at the dealership ended up taking him in and naming him Tucson. Not only was he adopted but he also got his own job – complete with an ID card! This “pawfessional consultant” started to have quite a lucrative career, especially after his photo went viral on the dealership’s Instagram page.
The dealership shared that they initially took him in with the intent to give him a place to stay but soon they noticed that he was a natural salesman. The dog’s friendly nature made him great with clients since he was such a welcoming meter and greeter. This prompted the dealership to put him on the payroll. As Emerson Mariano, the dealership’s showroom manager, shared with the news outlet “Top Motors Brazil,” Tucson was an instant hit with customers. And thanks to his “very caring and docile nature,” the dealership has seen an improvement in their environment. Not bad at all. Mariano has added that they have many return customers coming by just to say hi to Tucson.
The initial decision to take in Tucson happened one night when there was a particularly bad rainstorm outside. The manager was feeling sorry for Tucson sitting outside so he coaxed the dog inside the dealership and provided him with food and water. It didn’t take long for a bond between the two to form and Tucson quickly became a fixture inside the showroom.
Mariano stated, “After all, the company has always been pet-friendly, so now, we decided to embrace this idea in practice too, having our own pet precisely at a more complicated time like this with so many abandoned animals.”
Following his decision to adopt Tucson for the dealership, the pup was taken to the vet in order to make it official with all the necessary vaccines, etc. And now Tucson is living his best life being the star of the showroom. We wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes employee of the month!
