Hungry Shiba Inu Tries His Best To Outsmart His Owner

Having a dog means that you not only have an automatic best friend, but it also means you’ve got someone to teach cool tricks to. And while all dogs are intelligent and trainable, there are some pups that are just that bit more adept at picking up new things. And that is something that can be fun, especially when your pet is trying to outsmart you in a battle of wits.

One Shiba Inu named Loki proved that he enjoyed playing a guessing game. Basically, the rules were simple: the owner hid a treat in one of his hands behind his back, and then Loki had to guess which hand it was. The game was great until Loki noticed a disturbing pattern – his owner kept beating him.

Not satisfied with these outcomes, the clever Loki decided to turn the tides in his favor. The pup actually devised a way to cheat! Unfortunately for him, Loki’s owner managed to always stay one step ahead of him.

During the game, Loki’s owner would show the pooch the treat in his right palm. Loki would remember that it was there. However, when presenting Loki with his closed fists, Loki would go for the right hand, where he remembered the treat. Sadly, it would always be empty as the treat would mysteriously vanish.

Puzzled, the dog would try again. But then the same outcome would happen. Fed up that he didn’t have a treat and not sure how the owner was being so sneaky exactly, he then decided that instead of one or the other, he’d pick both fists!
