Heroic Labrador Rescues Two Trapped Dogs In A Moving Kayak

We all know that dogs have a deeply empathetic side to them. They will happily lookout for anyone that is in need of help – including other animals. So, it is no surprise that one black lab was willing to risk his own life in order to save two of his fellow canine companions.

The incident happened when two dogs were playing around near a canoe. The two dogs paid the canoe no mind, until a gust of wind pushed the canoe away from the safety of the shore and into the river. Thinking that it would be fun, the two ran and jumped into the floating canoe – only to realize that they made a huge mistake.

Once they realize their big blunder, they start looking for way to rectify it. Unfortunately for them, the canoe is steadily floating further and further away from shore. All they could do, was bark and let someone know that they were in a bit of a pickle. Thankfully, they were heard by a black lab who was nearby.

The courageous dog then charges into the water to try and save his friends. And the most impressive part of the clip is that the two dogs stuck in the canoe then toss out a rope to the black lab, as though they know what needs to be done in order to rescue them. From there, the lab is able to bring them back into safety – proving that even our pets can be heroes.

In the clip, the heroic black lab is seen running into the water, swimming towards the canoe, then grabbing hold of one of the ropes in order to pull them back to the safety of the shore. It was quite an impressive save.
