Guy Surprises His Dog With A Million Pieces Of Food

When YouTuber Liam Thompson hit the big milestone of one million subscribers, he decided to do something different in order to mark the occasion. He decided to get his dog Max in on the fun by ordering the Labradoodle one million pieces of dog food.

In Thompson’s recent video, he wrote, “Yesterday, I hit one million subscribers. And I owe a lot of that to this guy [Max]. So, I thought as a way to say ‘Hey, thanks Max’ I could buy one million dog biscuits.”

A plan this big was naturally going to need a little thought behind it. In order to get his plan going, Thompson first got in touch with a dog food supplier in order to see if it would be possible to get dog food in bulk.

Afterward, Thompson needed a little bit of mathematics to continue. Thompson first decided to “Buy one bag, count one bag, do the math.” That is when he bought a 26-pound bag of dog food in order to get started. However, he soon realized that counting every individual piece of dog food was going to be impossible. When he got through 140 pieces of dog food, he weighed it. The total was 50 grams. From there he calculated that he would be needing around 29 bags.

The rest of the plan was easy enough: pick up all the food, then let little Max go nuts. But as Thompson noted, if he were to lay out all the food, it would take Max a whole seven years to eat his way through. Knowing that was a lot of food, Thompson decided to keep most of the food in bags in order to later donate them to the SPCA – which will not accept food donations that are not sealed.

Then the rest was for Max to enjoy. And that he did. Watch as he digs into the dog food in the video below:
