When I was a teenager, our neighbors got three Chihuahuas. They were adorable little pups, but they were also quite noisy. They would yap at every single little noise. It wasn’t so bad in wintertime when all the windows would be closed and the double-paned glass helped to drown out the noise, but in summer it was a different story. But that is just part of the Chihuahua breed. They’re quite excitable little dogs. And while they might be tiny, their yappy barks do make a natural home security system. There is no getting anything past these pooches.
When Scott Hubbard and his family adopted their Chihuahua, they assumed that she’d make noise in the face of anything being amiss around the home. But it turned out that Gracie is the complete opposite of what the Chihuahua stereotype is.
This little pooch is so laid back she might as well be laying down. Scott recorded a video of the pup outside living her best life. And based off the footage, it’s clear that she doesn’t have a care in the world. It’s a bit enviable that someone can be that relaxed. She certainly lives her life like she’s on a permanent Caribbean vacation.
