To many of us dog owners, our pets are more like our babies. If you think about it, they share many similarities. For one, our dogs depend on us for everything. They’re extremely happy to see us all the time. They enjoy nap time, but will sometimes keep us up at night. They can sometimes be fussy eaters. And we have to clean up after them when they use nature’s facilities.
But perhaps the one thing that dogs have most in common with babies, is that they have a tendency to always want to put things in their mouths – even if they’re not supposed to. For most human parents, this is easily fixed by giving a baby a pacifier. But apparently, pacifiers work on dogs too, as one owner revealed in a hilarious video.
On owner found out just how much their golden retriever enjoyed having a pacifier. In fact, the pooch was so in awe of his new toy that any attempts to remove the pacifier from his mouth were met with a low warning growl. The charm of the dog with a pacifier in its mouth was definitely not lost on the rest of us – it gave plenty of people the giggles.
