Girl Asked Santa For 600 Pounds Of Pet Food To Donate Instead Of Toys

One little girl, Landyn Wadsworth, has already earned herself a spot on Santa’s nice list for next Christmas.

This Christmas, the 8-year-old girl wanted to help the cats and dogs living at the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter in Pasco, Washington, so instead of Christmas toys, she asked for money to buy pet food.

And her ask was quite successful – she managed to get a pretty hefty haul.

Landyn's wish for Christmas was food donations for the shelter and it looks like her wish came true!! We are so grateful for your kindness and I'm sure the dogs and cats are too!!

On Christmas Eve, the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter uploaded a picture of Landyn standing beside a cart full of both cat and dog food. The stack was even taller than the little girl, but that wasn’t it – she also had a sack that overflowing with animal supplies.

This incredible girl managed to raise enough money to buy 600 pounds of food, CNN affiliate KEPR reported.

This was the third year that Landyn has made it her mission to help get presents for the animals at the shelter.

As KEPR reported, Alisha, her mother, said Landyn first visited the shelter back in 2016 and was saddened that so many animals didn’t have homes for Christmas.

And there seems to be no stopping her kindness, as she’s already starting her collections for next year’s Christmas.

Don’t ever change Landyn!
