My favorite thing about dogs is their enthusiasm. Unlike cats, if you are in need of a pick-me-up cuddle, a dog will never turn you down. Dogs are always up for heartwarming displays of affection. But sometimes our dogs underestimate their power – particularly if they’re big dogs.
Large dogs almost never recognize their own strength and size. Perhaps one of the most endearing traits of our big pups, is that they fancy themselves lapdogs. They will try their best to fit into your lap as though they’re tiny dogs instead of the gentle giants that they really are.
Possibly one of the most comical examples is the video of Herbert. All the loving dog wanted, was to cuddle up on his beloved owner’s lap. Unfortunately for the pair, when Herbert tried to climb up onto the reclining chair with his owner, things went wrong. But luckily for us, Marybeth Parker managed to capture the hilarious moment for the internet to enjoy.
