Dogs love to swim. And they will gladly jump into water wherever they are. For one couple, they realized that their German Shepherd was in love with swimming. In order to make their dog happy, they decided to get a pool that they could share with him.
The dog, who is named Elliot, is a German Shepard/husky mix. He loves his pool so much, that he would try to swim in it every chance he got. As his owner shared, they quickly realized that the clever pooch had figured out how to climb into the pool on his own.
After observing his behavior, his owner decided it was time to film the pup in action. As she shared, “I finally caught him on camera hence my laughing in the video! Elliot is one unique and amazing dog and we are so happy to have him!”
In the video, Elliot can be clearly seen getting up on the ladder that leads to the pool. He takes his time, carefully climbing each step until he made it to the top. Then the pooch took a quick sniff before he plunges straight into the water.
It definitely looked like Elliot is living his best doggie life. Watch his escapades in the video below:
