Dogs make friends wherever they go. But sometimes, the new friends end up coming to them. This was the case for an adorable little French Bulldog named Ellie-Mae. The adorable pup lives in Wellington, Nova Scotia in Canada with her owner. The particular area in which they live has some woods behind their property, so it comes as no surprise that sometimes woodland creatures appear. And luckily for Ellie-Mae, that means new friends.
Ellie-Mae was chilling outside in her backyard when a young deer buck ended up coming into the yard. Immediately, Ellie-Mae’s interest was caught and she went to investigate. At first, both animals were a little unsure of one another.
But then the two quickly warmed up to one another and they started to play. Ellie-Mae’s owner was sure to catch them on video. In the footage, you can see the little Frenchie darting around as the young buck frolics after her. They share a few more friendly games of chase before the buck eventually has to head off back into the woods.
