Firefighters Revive And Rescue A Dog From A Burning House

Firefighters do a lot for the community in terms of fire safety. This includes the furry, four-legged members of our communities as well. When a fire broke out in one Washington DC home, firefighters immediately responded to the call.

When they arrived on the scene, crews were able to rescue six dogs from the burning building. In a video that was captured at the scene, you can see the length that they went to in order to save one of the dogs. The tan mixed breed dog was not in great shape after having been pulled from the burning home.

Most likely he had some kind of smoke inhalation or something that had caused him to lose consciousness and go listless. The group of firefighters were not about to give up on him. In the touching footage, they administered oxygen to the pup, as well as cooled down his body temperature with some water. All their efforts paid off and the pooch began to come around. It was a fine example of how much these firefighters give of themselves in order to make sure that all members of their community stay safe. That was one lucky dog to have such caring firemen looking out for him.
