Dr. Travis Broke Down In Tears When He Spoke About His Dog On Live TV

It doesn’t matter how long it’s been since your pet has passed away, thinking about them once they’ve gone over the rainbow bridge will always bring back emotions. Any pet owner knows this quite well. Our pets are like family – each and everyone that passes through our lives.

On “The Doctors,” a show cohosted by Dr. Travis, saw an emotional moment when Dr. Travis was asked to speak bout his dog, Nala. Happy to oblige, he went on to gush about his “special lady.”

Dr. Travis was quite candid about their many wonderful memories. However, when it came to discussing his dog’s health issues, he began to get choked up, his eyes welling with tears.

It was only understandable, as he’d had his precious girl for 17 years – an indestructible bond that had been formed. Dr. Travis admitted that she wasn’t just his pet, she was his “daughter” and his best friend, someone who’d brought so much positivity to his life.

Any pet owner would more than understand that level of emotion and connection.

Unfortunately, not long after the taping of the episode, Nala passed away.

You can watch the raw emotion in the video below, but you may want to grab a box of tissues first:
