Dog’s First Snow Day Did Not Go As Planned

A dog looks out the door to see the pretty snow.

Watching dogs play in the snow never gets old. Especially, when it’s their first time discerning what the fluffy white substance on the ground is. And fifteen years later, the 2005 video of Lulu going out to play in the snow is still a classic that we’ll happily watch on repeat.

The adorable little pooch from Bayport, NY, was filmed just after a snowstorm going out to brave the cold.

She was dressed up for the harsh weather conditions in an adorable blue sweater – a precaution her owner took. Of course, little Lulu didn’t seem bothered by the cold, she was more excited to get out and go explore. It was her first time taking a stroll in the snow!

But, when her owner opened up the door for her, the little pooch was immediately confused. She took one sniff of the snow and decided that it was a nope.

In fact, she didn’t even go out in it. She just turned around and immediately went back into the comfort of the warm house. It was the cutest thing ever!

As her owner explained at the time, “I recorded my dog as I let her out the morning after a snowstorm, knowing how fussy she tends to be. She didn’t seem to like it very much.”

Hopefully, she’s since made her peace with snow.
