Moose is unlike most dogs. He waits every day to give his favorite person in the entire world a hug – the mailman!
While most dogs frighten members of the postal service, Moose is a dog that most would enjoy seeing on a daily basis.
A few weeks ago, a new mailman was assigned to a route that includes Moose’s house.
He watched out the window as the mailman made his deliveries to other homes in the neighborhood.
One day, Moose begged to be let outside when the mailman approached his house. He ran full speed and his parents couldn’t believe what happened next:
Moose ran right up to the mailman and gave him the sweetest hug!
“It was adorable,” Meghan Gruszynski, Moose’s owner, told The Dodo. “I loved how much he loved our boy and loved how much Moose loved saying hi to him.”
Now the two have a tradition of greeting each other with a hug when the mailman stops to deliver the family’s mail.
I don’t know about you, but this absolutely made my day!
“I’ve come to find out our mailman’s dog recently passed away,” Gruszynski said. “He loves how much love Moose gives him every time he is out on his route.”
The best part is that the two will be able to see each other for a long time: “He’s our mailman ’til he retires, so it should be fun watching their love,” she said.
