There is no greater bond than the one that exists between a person and their dog. After 33-year-old Ryan Jessen suffered a brain hemorrhage and was hospitalized, his dog Mollie was by his side. His family has brought her in when they knew that there was no hope for recovery. They knew how much Molly and Ryan meant to each other and deserved a final goodbye.
Michelle, Ryan’s sister, shared the story on Facebook, “The hospital did the sweetest thing for us and allowed us to bring my brother’s dog in to ‘say goodbye’ so she’d know why her human never came home. If you knew my brother, he really loved his sweet dog.”

Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California was the place where Ryan Jessen had been hospitalized. The institution was generous in allowing Mollie into the premises in order to say farewell back on the 30th of November.
As Michelle shared, Ryan passed away on that same day from a ventricular brain hemorrhage.
Even though the video was taken and only meant to be shared with immediate family and close friends, it ended up getting shared around the world. There was so much raw emotion which resonated with pet owners around the world. in fact, the family stated that they were “sincerely touched and humbled” by the outpouring of love and support that they were shown following Ryan’s passing.
Michelle also was sure to let all those following the story know that Mollie was being cared for, saying, “Don’t worry about the dog! We’re keeping her!!! She’s part of the family.”
