Dog Uses His Tongue To Break Free From His Kennel

Dog uses his tongue to break out of kennel

Some dogs are such good friends, they won’t let any obstacle get in the way of them having a fun time – like Ty and his bff, Dilly.

Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital

Ty and are owned by veterinarian Patrick Kalanzi of Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital in Colorado. From time to time, Dr. Kalanzi likes to bring his dogs to work with him, placing them in a kennel on the occasional moments that they may need to be corralled.

But just because they’re put in a kennel doesn’t mean they can’t get out. As it turns out, Ty is quite the Houdini of lock picking.

Here he is in action:

And voila! Freedom!

“He mastered the kennel door very fast. After all, he is a licky pit bull,” Dr. Kalanzi said to The Dodo. “He’s a very smart escape artist.”

While Ty’s method of breaking himself and Dilly out may have been a mystery at first, once the truth in how he managed it came out, it was impressive as well as funny.

“I thought it was hilarious,” Dr. Kalanzi said.
