When we were kids how many of us were notorious for using the “five more minutes” plea with our parents? Probably most of us. And if our parents flat out said no, there were probably some of us that tried to come up with clever ways around it. I personally used to try to get my mom engaged with another mom so she’d continue talking and I’d get more playtime.
But kids aren’t the only ones who try to trick their parents into letting them have five more minutes of playtime at the park or a friend’s house. In fact, our pets are just as nefarious in their attempts to trick us so they can stay at the park a little longer.
One dog mom, Lisa Brownson, uploaded a video of her dog Poppy trying to do just that. In the video, the two had been at the dog park for some fun. When it was time to leave, Poppy wasn’t ready. However, this was not an isolated incident. As it turns out, Poppy has been perfecting this level of sneakiness for years as she tries to extend playtime. The crafty pooch actually tried to “trick” Lisa into staying longer by going and hiding in the bushes!
