A man has passed away in Liverpool after a tree fell on him while he was walking his dog.
The man, who was in his 60s, was rushed on to the hospital on Tuesday morning, where he later passed away from sustained injuries.
According to LADBible, Merseyside Police confirmed that the man’s dog was on the scene uninjured when the police arrived.

According to the Metro, they were able to identify the man by using the dog’s microchip.
In a statement to LADBible, Merseyside Police said: “We can confirm that the man hit by the falling tree branch in Black Wood in Woolton has sadly passed away. The man, who is in his 60s and from the Liverpool area, has now been identified and his next of kin have been informed. Road closures remain in place in the area.”
