Most of us can’t wait for summer to start – especially if we’re living in a location that snows throughout the winter. The cold gets old really quickly, so many of us are thrilled to see the warm weather return. Additionally, summer always brings a load of opportunities for backyard barbecues, pool parties, or trips to the beach. While we can’t wait to see the snow melt away, there was a dog who wasn’t so happy about it.
This adorable black Lab who wasn’t ready to let the winter go. It was actually a little heartbreaking to see him be upset over the melting ice. His owners chronicled his dwindling time with the patch of snow in the backyard. Each day, the loyal pooch would go outside and sit with his pile of snow.
As the temperatures continued to rise, the snow pile got smaller and smaller. But the devoted dog didn’t spot hanging out with the patch of snow – he just loved it so much! The pup was loyal to the very end. But even though the little Lab had to say goodbye to his snow pile, he could at least rest easy knowing that in another few months the cold would be back – meaning his snow would be returning.
