Apart from when we were kids most of us probably don’t give a huge thought to our shadows. But they’re there, following us around. But it’s our dogs that might be a little more intrigued by the dark mass that follows them around.
And watching our dogs get a look at their shadows usually makes for very entertaining video footage. Usually, dogs will just be confused by the dark mass. But sometimes they will get a little bit more aggressive.
When one German Shepherd dog first spotted his shadow, he was confused. He tilted his head back and forth, clearly trying to figure out what the thing on the ground was and why it was moving.
But then he got a little more proactive in trying to crack the code. The canine started scratching at the floor with his paws. But that didn’t seem to have any effect. But when he notices that the showed is moving with him, the canine decided to take things up a notch. He really went for it and began to pound at the ground like he was trying to stop it from following him.
Eventually, his owners had to try to get him to leave it alone. It was clear that this little pupper was getting upset with the shadow following him. Poor little guy. Hopefully, he figures out that the shadow is a part of him.
