It takes a certain type of personality to stare down danger. Most of us wouldn’t even consider going up against a wolf. But Lana the Doberman proved that she was ready to throw down if it came to it. Fortunately for Lana, there wasn’t going to be any need for a fight since she was separated from the wolf through a fence.
The feisty Doberman was definitely bold in her engagement of a staring contest with the black wolf. While the two canines were most likely squaring off in a territorial stance, it was still an interesting moment to witness. Lana’s owners had taken the pup, along with their other dog, for a visit of the Wolf Research Center. That is where Lana came face to face with the majestic black wolf.
As her owner shared, “It is allowed to bring your own dog since the wolves are behind a fence. We brought along our Doberman, Lana, and our Miniature Pinscher, Ezio.”
Even though Lana was willing to get into the staredown with the wolf, she was also the first to eventually give up and walk away. Perhaps she realized that it wasn’t going to go anywhere. Watch her bravely stare down the wolf in the clip below:
