Dad Nurses His Dog’s Favorite Toy ‘Back To Health’ After It Was Left Outside

Every dog either hates toys or they have that one special toy they have played with since they were a puppy.

One dog named Lucky and his stuffed teddy bear have been inseparable. Even as the teddy bear got older and more raggedy, the dog continued to love it like it was his own child.

“It has no stuffing left in it anymore and it goes everywhere with him,” Michaella Wallace, Lucky’s owner, told The Dodo. “He plays with it at all times. He protects it like it’s his own baby.”

Unfortunately, Lucky left his teddy bear outside while going to the bathroom and winter storm was on its way.

The next morning, after the snow had melted, Wallace’s dad found the teddy bear in rough shape.

He then brought the destroyed wet toy inside and attempted to “rescue” it.

Wallace’s dad even set up an adorable recovery room with a faux IV drip so the teddy bear could get back to normal health.

“Lucky and Laci love my dad and he is the same way towards them,” Wallace said. “Our dogs mean so much to our whole family and everyone who meets them adores them.”
