Who remembers being a young kid in school? Most of us were probably pretty good about staying on top of homework. But every now and again, we may have slipped and forgotten an assignment…or two. There was nothing worse than sitting in class and hearing your teacher say “pass your homework forward” only to realize that you had completely blanked on the homework. What excuse would you give for not getting it done? Would you ever use the excuse, “my dog ate my homework”?
The funny thing about that phrase is it was such a farfetched excuse no one would actually believe it. But ironically some dogs do accidentally ruin homework. When I was in third grade my dog did accidentally shred the math homework I’d left out on top of my backpack.
But I’m not the only one who had their dog eat their homework. It can actually happen more often than people would assume. And unlike the old days, now we have technology that can document the myth. And one video below did just that. In the adorable footage, a little Dachshund pup decided that he wanted to take his owner’s homework. He just grabbed it in his mouth and then ran away. Cheeky little pup!
