The classic meet-cute of the Disney film, “101 Dalmatians” is certainly romance goals for any dog owner. I mean, who wouldn’t want to get tangled up with their soulmate while out walking with their dog – particularly if it’s your dog that happens to arrange the tangling.
Am I right, or am I the only hopeless romantic here? Well, at least one other couple seems to agree, since they chose to have their engagement photoshoot feature a recreation of the iconic moment of the 1961 Disney film.
Corinne Jones and Tony Collier were the couple who went all out for their engagement photos while recreating the classic scene. Corinne had always been a huge fan of the “101 Dalmatians” movie, so when it came time for engagement pictures, she knew she wanted to bring to live the moment when characters Anita and Roger meet thanks to the skillfully executed help of their Dalmatians, Perdita and Pongo.
For those who may not remember it, here is the scene below:
Of course, no photoshoot of this magnitude would be complete without a little canine help. So, the couple’s dogs Izabelle, a mastiff mix, and Mookie, a black lab mix, were brought in to assist in the photoshoot by pretending to be the Perdita and Pongo. Even though they were Dalmatians, they certainly posed their best for the camera. And it all came out looking great!
The photoshoot was well in line with Corinne and Tony, who are Disney fans. The couple met back in 2009 while attending the University of Illinois marching band formal. And, their first vacation that the couple took together was right after graduation, when they went together to Walt Disney World.
Since they have many shared interests, such as music and musical theater, as well as all things Disney, it made perfect sense that they would choose such a special recreation for their engagement shoot. And the results were incredible – easily not something they’ll forget any time soon.

Izabelle and Mookie were coaxed into their poses using treats. Meanwhile, the couple’s outfits were sourced from thrift stores, while Corinne’s hat was constructed out of paper and felt. The couple used buckets of water to get that wet look since the lake in the background was just used for scenic purposes.

Assisting the couple in recreating the scene was Corinne’s cousin, photographer Melissa Biggerstaff, of Rusty Lion Art. And overall, magic was made:
