What I remember most about of family dog was her ability to read emotions pretty accurately. When we were happy, she was ecstatic, but the sweetest thing was always when someone was upset, she’d be there instantaneously to comfort you.
Dogs are great that way – they’re always willing to lend you some love when you need it most. And they understand our cries to be an expression of pain and upset, so when your tears start falling, it’s pretty safe to assume that your dog won’t be far away.
And dogs will comfort anyone of any age, so long as they need it. Just like Dooey the Corgi, who was more than happy to be a shoulder to cry on for his best friend, Isabelle. When the precious Corgi heard the little girl begin to cry, he was there.
The little dog rushed to her side and did what dogs do best – give you endless love. Dooey immediately came over and sat on the child’s lap.
It worked.
Within seconds she was wiping her eyes and hugging Dooey, proving that dogs are such incredible and loyal companions.
Based on the footage, you can totally understand why his family has nicknamed him, “Dooey the tantrum stopper.”
