Will A New Dog Adjust to My Schedule

Hi Cesar, I don’t have a dog yet, but I plan to adopt one from my local shelter. It will be my first dog. I am a teacher, so I have many non-work days, such as eight to ten weeks of summer vacation, two weeks of Christmas break, one week of Easter break, and several holidays throughout the school year. Needless to say, during those non-work weeks, I will have more time to spend with my dog (i.e. more walks, longer walks, etc.) than when I am working. Dear Cesar, I have an American Staffordshire terrier named Coach who is almost four years old. We have an extreme problem with Coach barking through the fence at our surrounding neighbors and their dogs. How To Raise A Balanced Pit Bull

Hi Cesar, I adopted a male pit bull when he was between 8 and 10 weeks old. This is my first pit bull. I have two labs at home, 7 and 10, both males. Introducing Puppy To Older Dogs

Dear Cesar, I have a stable pack of three older adults. Since they are getting so old, my husband and I want to add a puppy. We have babysat the puppy of a friend for a weekend, and our dogs hate puppies. Puppies are ignorant and absurdly brave and curious. Is there any direction on how to get the pup to learn to respect the big dogs without him getting hurt? Balancing Attention For Four Dogs

Cesar, I have two Labs who are two years old and two Saint Bernards, who are 6-and-a-half months old. Both sets are littermates. I’m guessing you won’t be surprised to hear me say that the Saint Bernards are already bigger in size than my Labs…and running at about 80 lb. Because the Saints are getting too big in size, my Labs are afraid to play with them, because they freak out with their heavy paws.
